I started The Socialite Design because I wanted to challenge myself to be radically fabulous™. Staying within my own network of people, places, things and activities is easy and comforting like a slice of Grandma’s Sweet Potato Pie. But there comes a time when you have to tempt your palates with new cuisine…so to speak.
Inspired by a photo project that I completed for my wonderful Grandmother (read about that in my first article) I decided the moment had arrived for me to step outside of my comfort zone and take full advantage of “The City that Never Sleeps.” Consider this blog my introduction to a whole new world. Along this journey you’ll find me at events and in places completely foreign to me.
Never wanting anything to be totally about me, this site will showcase emerging as well as established talent in fashion, photography, art, music, dance and film. It will also highlight the radically fabulous™ people who are making incredible contributions to ameliorate the world in which we live.
So who am I? In this life one has to do it all – I’m a writer, marketing wizard, TV Host, journalist, performer, producer, conceptualizer and all around creative being. Federal Express, ESPN, HBO, AT&T, and Arby’s are just a few companies to utilize my talents.
